Paintings

My paintings are mostly acrylic sometimes with a bit of oil pastel or pencil used for details. They are always varnished with a matt varnish which gives them a layer of UV protection. I usually don’t varnish until a painting is bought or is going off to an exhibition… this allows for little changes!

Each piece will be initialled on the front and signed on the reverse with other information such as its name and date.

The price in my shop includes a simple tray frame in white unless otherwise specified. I don’t fix the paintings into the frame until they are sold or going off to an exhibition so do get in touch if you have a frame preference and I’ll do my best to help. The reverse of the frame will have ‘D’ rings and hanging cord attached but I’m happy to add an alternative fixing if preferred.

My lead time for delivery is usually about 1-2 weeks to allow for varnishing and framing. Sometimes a piece may be available for immediate shipping so do get in touch if you need a piece more quickly.

I generally don’t take commissions unless the idea is based on an existing design with small changes such as colour palette. I’m always happy to discuss!
