Adventures In landscape
Colourful abstracts that bring joy to your walls
Hi, I’m Claire…
I’m a contemporary landscape artist based in Cornwall. Welcome to my world of colour and texture where I showcase works of forest, field and sea… I hope they bring you joy and a new appreciation of our land.
If you’d like to see my work in person you can visit my home studio, just drop me a line… or check out my exhibition page to find out where I’m exhibiting.
“Painting is beautiful. I’m so delighted. Claire was a great communicator and lovely to deal with. Can’t wait to hang it in our home xx.”
— CollectorIt all started in Penzance…
When on a family holiday I discovered the solo show of a local contemporary artist that stirred an ‘ah ha’ moment within me. I knew I had to try painting and my creative path took a whole new direction. I started playing with ideas, while I was still running my jewellery business, then in January 2025 decided to focus my time on my painting.
I’m very lucky to live in such a such beautiful area and I love to go on mini adventures to discover new views, wander moorland paths and find hidden coves. I’m always on the lookout for little details I can use in my landscapes, the line of a field, a tree on the horizon, or the way the afternoon light highlights unusual colours.
